Brawl Stars Brawl Talk (February 2025): New Brawlers, new Hypercharges, and more
The February 2025 Brawl Stars Brawl Talk brought some exciting updates, including two brand-new Brawlers, a bunch of new Hypercharges, and a whole new way to level up with the Pro Pass.
Plus, we get a sneak peek at the March Brawl Pass and an interesting UNO collaboration. Let’s dive into all the details.
New brawlers in Brawl Stars
Two fresh brawlers are being introduced in this update. Here’s what you need to know about each one:
Finx
Image via SupercellFinx is the owner of the Starr Park escape room and, fittingly, has a cool time manipulation theme. His main attack, Chronocast, fires three projectiles, with the central one packing the biggest punch.
His Super, Time Warp, lets him mess with the battlefield by slowing down enemy projectiles and speeding up those of his teammates.
But that’s not all—Finx has a handy Gadget, Finxture, which lets him teleport back to his position from three seconds ago, plus he gets to regain his ammo. His Star Powers add more utility:
- Hieroglyph Halt slows enemy reload speeds.
- Primer extends the duration of his Super’s effects.
Lumi
Next up, Lumi joins the roster as part of the Madevil Manor Trio. Lumi’s attack revolves around her ability to throw and recall two morning stars, dealing damage to enemies twice in the process.
Her Super, Blast Beat, slams three heavy attacks into the ground, with the last one rooting enemies in place.
Lumi has a couple of cool Gadgets too:
- Hit The Lights ignites her morning stars for bonus damage.
- Grim & Frostbitten creates freezing winds, slowing enemies down.
For her Star Powers, Lumi can:
- Half-Time slows enemies when she recalls her weapon.
- 42% Burnt ignites the area affected by her Super, adding some extra fire damage.
New Hypercharges in Brawl Stars
This update introduces 12 Hypercharges that provide unique buffs to the following Brawlers:
- Grom
- Mr. P
- Gus
- Lola
- Meg
- Buster
- Bea
- Bo
- Hank
- Carl
- Sam
- Mandy
Ranked System Overhaul & the New Pro Pass in Brawl Stars
The Ranked System is getting an overhaul. Starting soon, you will get a chance to try out three fully maxed-out Brawlers every month before unlocking them.
Speaking of rewards, the new Pro Pass is a big deal. It offers both free and paid tracks. You can earn Pro Pass XP (PPXP) by participating in ranked victories and Esports engagement. Here’s what you can expect from both tracks:
- Free Track: Includes Ranked Drops, Gems, and a new Rarity Skin.
- Paid Track: Offers some sweet exclusive rewards, including 600 Gems, 5000 Coins, and the first-ever Astral Colt Pro Skin.
The Pro Pass gives players more ways to level up and earn exclusive content.
March Brawl Pass and UNO Collaboration
The upcoming March Brawl Pass is looking great with a fresh set of skins. Mummified Frank is the star of the pass, but you can also unlock skins like Charcoal Frank and Papyrus Frank.
For those looking for even more options, skins like Queen Juju, Mystic Meeple, and Pharaollie will also be available.
But that’s not all. Brawl Stars is teaming up with UNO for a limited-time event, and it’s going to be pretty unique.
The new game mode revolves around UNO cards. Special Action Cards will trigger power boosts or movement restrictions, adding a whole new level of strategy to the game.
