BLAST and popular mobile game Brawl Stars have today announced that the Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 will take place in Tokyo from November 20-22nd 2026. The event will bring together the world’s best Brawl Stars esports teams to compete for the title of World Champion and claim the lion’s share of the USD 1 million prize pool.
The Brawl Stars World Finals marks the culmination of the 2026 Brawl Stars Championship season and this year will be the biggest in-person event in Supercell’s history . Hosted in Japan for the first time, the World Finals will combine high-energy live competition with BLAST’s signature broadcast spectacle as part of Supercell and BLAST’s wider commitment to elevating Brawl Stars esports on the global stage. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the fan zone, custom merch created for the event, as well as something new and unique to the Tokyo experience to be revealed later!
The announcement comes hot off the heels of BLAST and Supercell delivering a sold out Brawl Cup in Berlin, Germany over the weekend, with HMBLE claiming the top spot to unlock an additional World Finals slot for the EMEA region. Fans packed out the Uber Eats Music Hall across three days of world-class Brawl Stars esports action. They will now turn their attention to Japan to watch the best players compete to be crowned Brawl Stars World Champions.
Kim Jensen, Esports Manager for Brawl Stars, said:
"A huge shoutout to those who competed in the Brawl Cup and what an awesome atmosphere we witnessed! Selling out the Uber Eats Music Hall gives us great confidence for Tokyo in November - the Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 will be our biggest-ever in-person event! Choosing Japan as the location was a no-brainer considering the growth of Brawl Stars in the region, and the exceptional dedication of local players and fans. We cannot wait to see Crazy Raccoon defend their title on home turf, adding further to the hype of going to Tokyo!"
Anne Banschbach, Programme Director for Brawl Stars at BLAST, said:
“The entire BLAST team is incredibly excited to bring the grand finale of the Brawl Stars Championship to Tokyo. This will be BLAST’s first event in Tokyo, and we can’t wait to bring our production to a brand-new location and interact with new fanbases in the region. Following the sold-out success of Brawl Cup Berlin, we’re keen to apply our learnings and collaborate with Supercell to close out the 2026 competitive season on a high.”
The Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 will feature teams that qualify through the official Brawl Stars Championship circuit across multiple international regions which is available to more than 190 countries. Ten teams will qualify via the Regional Leaderboards and two teams will qualify for World Finals via in-person the Last-Chance Qualifier (LCQ) event in October.
