
JioBLAST, in collaboration with KRAFTON India, today announced the launch of BGMI Gully Wars, a new BATTLEGROUNDS Mobile India (BGMI) tournament designed to spotlight grassroots gaming talent and create opportunities for aspiring players to step into the competitive ecosystem
Built around the thought of “APNA NAAM BANA,” BGMI Gully Wars is an open-for-all competition with a ₹10 lakh prize pool that gives players and teams from across the country an opportunity to compete, showcase their skills and take their first steps towards becoming recognised names in the gaming community. Registrations for the tournament will be open till October 6, inviting aspiring players to turn their everyday grind into an opportunity to compete on a larger stage.

Designed to give grassroots players a platform to compete and get noticed, BGMI Gully Wars reflects the growing depth of gaming talent across India. The tournament aims to create a space where players who may currently be known only within their squads, communities or friend circles can take their game to the next level and potentially make their name known to a much larger audience.

The journey begins with the In-Game Qualifier from October 14–20, followed by a series of rounds that narrow the competition to the final 16 teams competing in the Grand Finals. For players who have spent years building their skills without necessarily having access to competitive opportunities, the tournament offers a chance to take that next step.
