Sniping is one of the most fun ways to play Call of Duty, but it's not exactly the easiest way of playing in Black Ops .
With the way the guns work combined with the crazy movements that come with the new omni-movement system, sniping has perhaps never been as difficult as it is right now.
However, players like Spratt, Scope, and Pamaj still manage to hit clips with Snipers, so we've put together a list of the best Sniper loadouts and builds in Black Ops 6 so you can play exactly like them.
The LW3A1 Frostline is the default Sniper in Black Ops 6 and it's pretty strong. It has the faster fire rate and ADS speed of the two bolt-action rifles, however, it doesn't hit quite as hard as the LR 7.62.
For this LW3A1 Frostline best loadout, you'll need to use the Gunfighter wildcard, which is an unfortunate consequence of some of the Sniper balancing in Black Ops 6.
In terms of the best attachments for the LW3A1 Frostline, you absolutely need to use Rapid Fire, the Quickdraw Riser, and the Heavy Stock. These three attachments will give huge quality of life upgrades to the gun, and each one will cause a notable difference to your gameplay as they increase firing times and decrease the massive flinch in the game.
Outside of those three, use either a Long Barrel or a Reinforced Barrel as this will aid the damage of the gun, and also apply a Muzzle Break as that will help to combat the recoil of Snipers in Black Ops 6.
If you're hoping to hit clips with the LW3A1 Frostline, you should also be using either Extended Mag 1 or 2, as this will give you a huge bonus compared to the default magazine size of five bullets.
Another important attachment in this Black Ops 6 LW3A1 Frostline best build is the Lightweight pad, as this will help to reduce the idle sway you will experience will in your scope.
Finally, you should add a laser to your gun. When it comes to which laser is better for the LW3A1 Frostline, you should consider your playstyle.
If you are someone who likes to be aggressive with a Sniper in COD and do a lot of quick scoping, then use the Strelok Laser. The Strelok Laser improves the centering of the crosshair when you aim in, which will make those quick shots more accurate.
However, if you're a slower sniper who likes to take more time with your shots, use the Target Laser instead. The Target Laser will drastically increase the time before the idle sway kicks in.
The LR 7.62 is the highest damage Sniper in Black Ops 6, but lacks some of the handling of the other two within it's class.
The best attachments for the LR 7.62 in Black Ops 6 will largely be the same as the Frostline, however, due to it's slowness by comparison, we recommend using the Target Laser exclusively as you will absolutely benefit from the slower playstyle with this gun.
With that said, you could also choose to forego the Extended Mag, Barrel, and Quickdraw Riser, which would allow you to use a different Wildcard, such as perk greed.
However, the LR 7.62's slowness doesn't affect the versatility of the gun, and the aforementioned content creators are all fond of using it for their Sniper clips, so you may still want to run Gunfighter in your best LR 7.62 loadout.
The SVD is the only semi-automatic Sniper in Black Ops 6, which typically means it will only be a one-shot kill to the head.
However, with this best loadout for the SVD, we'll show you how you can do more damage and get kills to the upper torso too.
For this SVD build in Black Ops 6, the best attachment will be the Gain-Twist Barrel. The Gain-Twist Barrel improves Bullet Velocity, giving you a little bit more damage and making it one-shot lower than the head.
The SVD loadout also features some other attachments to the other Snipers, with it being the only Sniper that we will recommend using an optic on. For that optic, use whatever you prefer, but we recommend no more than a 2x magnification. This is because the SVD can excel in far closer range gunfights than the other Snipers, and your build should be representative of this.
For that reason, in our SVD best loadout, we also recommend the Quickdraw Riser, the Strelok Laser, and the Recoil Springs in order to maximise your potential at getting shots off quickly and being able to fight in close quarter combat.
