Black Ops 6 Season 1 has now released and with it there is a new SMG that can be an absolutely deadly force in the game.
Incredibly fast firing and also able to be used Akimbo, the Saug is one of the deadliest weapons in Black Ops 6 and will also be viable for various points and hills in Ranked Play.
So, with that said, let's go over the best attachments and loadouts for the Saug, as well as how to unlock it in Black Ops 6.
The Saug was introduced as part of Season 1 as a weapon that can be earned through advancing the Battlepass. This means that to unlock the Saug in Black Ops 6, you will need to own the Season 1 Battlepass.
The Season 1 Battlepass costs around $10, and if you are to complete all the tiers of the Battlepass, you will receive enough COD Points to also purchase the second Battlepass when it releases.
Once you own the Season 1 Battlepass, you can unlock the Saug by advancing to the end of the third tier of the Battlepass.
Let's talk about the best attachments and loadouts for the Saug in Black Ops 6.
For this Saug best build, we'll be using the Gunfighter Wildcard, however, if you prefer to use another one then you could also used our Ranked Play Saug loadout in public matches.
Because of the fast fire rate of the gun, the first attachment we will recommend for the Saug is the Flip Mag. This is because you don't want any of the cons that come with the other magazine options and the Flip Mag will keep you in the fight thanks to it's fast reload.
You then want to add a Compensator, Vertical Foregrip, and Recoil Springs, as all of these attachments will reduce the Saug's sizeable recoil.
The final attachments you should consider using for the Saug in Black Ops 6 are the Balanced Stock, Reinforced Barrel, and the Ergonomic Grip. All of these while include the handling of your gun, making it even more deadly up close.
Finally, let's move onto a meta build for the Saug in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play.
We're not sure you should use the Saug at every available opportunity, because the Jackal is superior, however, the Saug can be great at holding some of the smaller Hardpoints in Ranked Play.
The main things you want to focus on is reducing your recoil. Therefore, use Compensator, Vertical Foregrip, and Recoil Springs.
After that, extend your damage range with a Reinforced Barrel and make sure that you're harder to hit by using the Balanced Stock and maximising the movement buffs you get from it.
