

Upgrading Workshop Stations in ARC Raiders is how you improve your crafting game and get better gear, weapons, and supplies.
Each station in your base, called Speranza, can be upgraded using specific materials you collect during missions. Here’s a clear look at how it all works and what you’ll need.
Image via Embark StudiosYou’ll find the Workshop tab inside your base. Each station there handles different types of crafting. When you upgrade a station, you unlock new crafting recipes and higher-quality gear.
To do this, you have to gather certain materials, which are scattered across the world. Some are common, but others might take a bit of exploring or fighting tougher enemies to find.

Level 1 upgrade needs 20 Metal Parts and 30 Rubber Parts. For Level 2, you’ll need 3 Rusted Tools, 5 Mechanical Components, and 8 Wasp Drivers.
To upgrade to Level 1, you’ll use 50 Fabrics and 6 ARC Alloy. For Level 2, it takes 2 Cracked Bioscanners, 5 Durable Cloths, and 8 Tick Pods.
Image via Embark StudiosLevel 1 requires 60 Metal Parts and 5 ARC Powercells. Higher levels aren’t out yet, so expect new materials to show up in future updates.

The first upgrade costs 25 Plastic Parts and 30 Fabrics. The second level takes 3 Power Cables, 5 Electrical Components, and 5 Hornet Drivers.
For Level 1, you need 50 Chemicals and 6 ARC Alloy. Level 2 needs 3 Synthesized Fuel, 5 Crude Explosives, and 5 Pop Triggers.
Upgrading to Level 1 takes 50 Plastic Parts and 6 ARC Alloy. To reach Level 2, you’ll need 2 Damaged Heat Sinks, 5 Electrical Components, and 6 Snitch Scanners.
Image via Embark StudiosGathering materials can take time since some drop in specific areas or from certain enemies. It’s smart to carry only what you need because you can lose items if you get taken out in the field.
Focus on upgrading stations that match your playstyle first. If you use explosives a lot, start with the Explosives Station. If you rely on weapons, go for the Gunsmith.
