Dates and Format

Here’s everything you need to know about the Dates and Format for BLAST Slam II:

• Date: February 4 to February 9, 2025
• Format:
  • Group Stage:
    • Two round-robin groups of five teams each
    • All matches are Bo1
    • King of the Hill type playoffs placement
      • 1st place teams are seeded to Semi-finals
      • 2nd place teams are seeded to Quarter-finals
      • 3rd place teams are seeded to Round 2
      • 4th and 5th place teams are seeded to Round 1
  • Playoffs:
    • Single elimination bracket
    • All matches are Bo3
    • The Grand Final match is Bo5

BLAST's unique tournament format gives teams a strong incentive to perform well in the group stage, as it directly impacts their playoff seeding.

The battle lines are drawn and teams are ready to face their foes. No team will face elimination during the group stage but a good showing there will put them at an advantageous position in the playoffs. The lower a team places, the tougher the road lies ahead of them and the championship.
