BLAST Slam II is just around the corner and the ten best teams from across the globe are heading to our studio in Denmark to compete for their share of an impressive $1,000,000 prize pool. These teams are prepared to bring their best strategies, skills, and teamwork to claim victory.
However, becoming the BLAST Slam II champion won't be easy – they must first navigate through the challenging group stage before entering the gauntlet.
With that in mind, let’s dive into the two groups and their opening matches, which kick off on February 4, 2025.

Group A consists of BetBoom Team, the inaugural BLAST Slam Champions, as they head into the tournament to defend their title. They will be up against formidable foes in Team Liquid and Tundra Esports from the European contingent, making way for exciting games and storylines.
Yakult Brothers and Talon Esports will represent China and Southeast Asia respectively. Both teams, while underrated, have a point to prove and to establish themselves as one of the best, they will have to compete against the best.
BetBoom’s run at BLAST Slam I was ferocious and even the unbeaten Tundra couldn’t handle the onslaught in the grand finals.

Group B is filled with brimming icons of yesterday and emerging stars of tomorrow. Parivision and Team Falcons march into the tournament as one of the stronger teams compared to others. The battle for supremacy between these two will be entertaining to watch.
Gaimin Gladiators, Xtreme Gaming and Nigma Galaxy are also seeded in Group B. Gaimin have been struggling ever since their second-place finish at The International 2024 and the roster change is yet to yield any dividend. They’ll certainly want to turn things around heading into BLAST Slam II.
Xtreme Gaming’s new roster also has a lot to prove and will be in constant tug-of-war with Yakult Brother’s to solidify their status as the best team in China. However, it’ll be Nigma Galaxy who will be on the radar for most given their immense fan following.

The first day of the tournament will be online and the remainder of the tournament will be held in our studio here in Denmark. Thus, we can assure you that you won't be missing any action as it will start at 10 am CET.
