After just over a year out of Active Duty, Overpass has been added back to the map pool in Counter-Strike 2.
An iconic map, many of the smoke lineups have been changed in the latest version of it, meaning you're going to have to learn new Overpass CS2 smokes if you want to be able to call yourself a master.
In this Overpass CS2 smokes guide, we'll cover some of the most important smokes you need to know if you want to climb ELO on Overpass and help you to become the best player you can be.
Smokes are an integral part of both sides on Overpass in CS2. For the CT side, they can deny important portions of the map early on in rounds, while the T side will need them in order to cut off long angles and prevent losing players on executes.
In this Overpass CS2 smokes guide, we'll go over the following smokes:
Bathrooms is one of the most dangerous AWPing spots in all of Counter-Strike, and that begins in the very first part of it you see.
Whether an AWPer is playing aggressive directly inside Front Bathrooms trying to catch off a player swinging Fountain, or even if they're playing Divider hoping to get a kill on a player pushing Party, the Front Bathroom smoke will completely remove their ability to do so.
To throw the smoke, you'll first need to go up the stairs coming out of T Spawn and lineup against the railings as shown.

You'll then need to turn around and look above you at the top of the wall just like in the image below.

To throw the smoke, jump throw and it will land as follows.

Once you've gotten control of Bathrooms you might want to execute onto the A site. If you do, you'll need to know the Bank smoke and the Stairs smoke.
To throw the Stairs smoke, you'll first need to stand on top of the bench outside of Bathrooms and line up as shown.

If you played a lot of the old versions of Overpass, you might now be expecting to look up at the sign. Instead, move your crosshair a little further up and aim at the top of the lamp.

To throw the smoke, you'll only need a left-click throw. If you're lined up correctly, it will land as shown.

For the second half of the A execute, you'll want to smoke Bank. To do so, head to the bench outside of Top Connector. You'll need to stand on the left side of the bench to throw the smoke.

Once you're next to the bench, aim at the spot above the Bathrooms as shown in the photo below.

To throw the smoke, you'll need to jump throw. If it lands correctly, it will look like this.

If you want to hit the B site, you'll need to know two smokes. The Bridge smoke will allow you to push out of Short while being safe from CT, while the Heaven smoke will protect you from AWPers.
The first smoke is the Bridge smoke. To throw the bridge smoke, you'll need to stand on this pile of wood outside of Connector.

When you're stood on the wood and pushed into the corner, turn around and look at the Pillar on B site as shown.

You'll then need to run forward and left-click throw, and when you let go it will bounce back off the Pillar and land on the bridge as shown.

The final smoke needed to successfully execute on the B site is the heaven smoke. To throw the Heaven smoke, position yourself here behind the B sign in Short.

When you're behind the sign, look above the wall and aim as shown.

To throw the smoke, you'll just need a regular left-click throw. The smoke will land as shown.

Because we're nice, we've also decided to include a couple of CT smokes to help deny map control.
For the monster smokes, you'll need to throw them with different lineups depending on what spawn you have. Each smoke is a jump throw.

There's also the T stairs smokes, which have been put together in a handy video by @djtlcs2.
