Nova Shots is back for BLAST Rivals Hong Kong and it's even better than before.

With a new daily game mode coming to add to the excitement, there's even more chances to win prize money than ever before, and that will make each day of the competition even more tense.

What is Nova Shots?

Although Nova Shots may sound like gambling, we need to make on thing clear: it really isn't. Nova Shots simulates a stock market experience for players, allowing them to buy and sell Team Tokens in order to manipulate said stock market.

The winning players will be those that hold as many tokens as possible of the team who ends up winning the event.

Completely free to play by downloading the app at Novashots.io, you can't even invest real money into it to try and gain an advantage over the other competitors.

dupreeh's tips

"I would start out the event, by picking a team, that has a very favourable matchup, where a win is almost guaranteed just by looking at matchpage. I think the most one-sided matchup in the beginning could be FURIA v Pain, to hopefully grab some early advantage by having a win in the book.
Looking forward there's a few key things to look out for: Close matchups on the ranking, can be a useful way to throw extra Tokens at the underdog, as the matchup could be a 50/50.- Keep an eye out and track results throughout the tournament: not all tournaments are the same, and some team show up better than others - even if they aren’t the favourite to win it all. Look at what other players are buying, to look for a cheap stock, in a matchup you can afford to take risks.
I think the strategy is to be patient after round 1, and see how round 2 evolves. Look out for matchups in round 3, as that’s where a lot of the heavy fighting is about to happen.
Using the newest feature, where you can try and predict a lot of the out comes of the matches, I would really be looking to try and score extra points on chosing the highest- and lowest rated player. It’s not always easy, but a good way to gain extra points.
