Ahead of BLAST’s debut in Hong Kong this week, the Rivals tournament has partnered with CS training software company Refrag for the event.
As an Official Partner of the Counter-Strike tournament, Refrag will feature prominently across the event, with digital integrations throughout the broadcast as well as physical on-site branding. Refrag will also have its own dedicated desk segment, utilising its software features to break down plays from across the competition.
Since its launch in 2018, Refrag has been elevating and empowering players in the Counter-Strike community, offering tools to train individual skills and facilitate tactical growth for both aspiring and top-tier teams. You can see an example of Refrag’s features in this video:
Freddie Beale, Head of Sponsorship Sales at BLAST, said:
We’re very excited to welcome Refrag on board for our debut event in Hong Kong. They’ve continued to innovate and enhance the Counter-Strike practice space for many years now, and we think fans of BLAST events will love the features on offer — whether they’re just picking up the game or competing at the top level.
Stefan Dorresteijn, CTO and co-founder of Refrag, said:
BLAST has given CS fans countless unforgettable moments, so we’re overjoyed to be partnering with them for their first event in Hong Kong. Being able to showcase Refrag and what it can do for the millions of CS players around the world is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited that it’s finally happening.
The BLAST Rivals Hong Kong is proud of being an “M” Mark event that helps enhance the image of Hong Kong as Asia’s sports event capital. The “M” Mark awarded by the Major Sports Events Committee, symbolising intense, spectacular and signature event in the territory sports calendar.
Eight of Counter-Strikes best teams will battle in Hong Kong to claim the final CS trophy of 2025. The champions will claim $125,000 USD and and hoist the trophy in front of a packed, roaring crowd.
