Despite only pushing an update to the game yesterday, Valve have released another update to Counter-Strike 2 tonight.
A much smaller update, it brings some changes to the Premier gamemode and how CS Rating works.
Let's take you through the update:
Although Premier was a feature in Global Offensive, even Valve admits they "didn't predict" how popular it would become in Counter-Strike 2 with the mode now taking up "half of playtime".
One change between games though is that CS2's Premier mode now features its own individual rating, called CS Rating.
CS Rating has received the biggest change in this latest update to CS2, with a notice being added to the end of the match when the rating was adjusted in the middle of the game.
In the patch notes, Valve states that this can be "due to the outcome of a match that the player was kicked from or abandoned, or recovering lost points from playing against a cheater".
Other changes in the patch notes include Competitive rating now being updated after returning to the main menu after a win, and "Various bug fixes and tweaks".
Whatever that means.
