There's unfortunate news coming out of G2 today - star man m0NESY will be unavailable to play BLAST Premier Spring Final due to visa issues.
The news will be undoubtedly disappointing to both fans and the organisation itself, with m0NESY's unavailability meaning that the team will now be playing their second event in a row with a stand-in.
However, if the result at that event is anything to go by - G2 may now be supercharged.
TaZ's stand-in period will mark the first time the Polish veteran has played on a tier one team since departing Virtus.pro in 2018.
That doesn't mean fans should worry about his levels - he was still playing professionally with HONORIS last year.
G2 are set to begin their Spring Final campaign against Spirit, a game that just got infinitely harder due to the absence of their star AWPer.
Outside of the team's woes, players of BLAST fantasy will also have cause for concern, 40% of players picked the Russian to be their star man from the Diamond category.
If you're in that 40%, you better get him out of your team and fast.
