Every smoke you need to know on Nuke in Counter-Strike 2

Following the release of Counter-Strike 2, many of the smokes that players knew and relied upon for years in CS:GO have now been changed, and that's left them a little stuck when trying to execute onto bomb sites.

Nuke is one of the most tactical maps in the competitive map pool, and for that reason, it's imperative to learn smokes.

Fewer smokes on Nuke will actually assist you in executing onto sites, but without them, you will struggle to enter the B site at all.

Don't worry, though, because we are CS2 experts, and we'll have you learning all the necessary smokes for Nuke in no time.

The best smokes on Nuke in CS2

Let's start with the default Outside wall of smokes.

A smoke-set that every player should be familiar with before playing Nuke and will have seen countless times in pro games, the default smoke wall allows the Terrorist side to cross to Secret and down into the B site.

Gaining Secret control as a Terrorist is incredibly important. Not only does it pull rotates from the upper areas of the map, it also gives the Terrorists some of the easiest and most valuable map control they can get. For that reason, they are some of the best smokes on Nuke in CS2.

Wall of smokes on Nuke in CS2

For the first smoke in the wall of smokes, you need to line up with this spot of the truck in T Spawn.

Then, look up at this part of the wall and jump throw.

A second player will then need to come to this corner just outside of T Spawn.

They will then look at this part of the blue container and also jump throw.

Make sure both throw their smokes at the same time and you will be rewarded with one of the best smoke walls on Nuke in CS2.

Just be careful, the new change with HE grenades splitting smokes can make the cross to Secret a lot more dangerous than in CS:GO.

Garage smoke in CS2

Once you have the wall of smokes deployed you have established presence in Outside, and you don't necessarily have to go down Secret.

One of the best smokes you can learn on Nuke in CS2 to further develop your tactics is a Garage smoke. With a Garage smoke, you will then be able to scale to Mini to execute a split onto the A site.

To smoke Garage, first come to this spot just outside of T Spawn.

Then, line up with this part of the Silo and jump throw.

Even if you don't throw the wall of smokes, this is still one of the best smokes for Outside control on Nuke in CS2. It severely limits the impact of an enemy AWPer going for an early pick and will allow you to walk up close to Mini with limited contact.

Heaven smoke on CS2

So let's say you will then split onto the A site. What's the best smoke you can use to help you do so?

With teammates coming through Mini, you won't want to smoke off their entrance. To limit angles and stop enemy rotators from having an impact, you should instead smoke heaven.

Here is the best Heaven smoke on Nuke in CS2:

First, line up at this part of the fences along the border of the map. You can use the mini-map or the positioning related to the blue box in the next image for an exact position.

Once there, turn around and aim your crosshair at this window. Jump throw and your smoke will land in Heaven, cutting off one of the most effective AWP angles on Nuke.
