Counter-Strike might be a game mastered by players, but it’s the talent that brings the whole show together.
With BLAST Open Rotterdam right around the corner, we needed a stellar lineup to bring CS back to the Netherlands, and we’ve found the perfect group to do so.
A stacked talent list that features some of your favourite faces, and there are also some fresh faces to add to the excitement.
With the best-dressed man in esports, James Banks, taking a break ahead of the new addition to his family, BLAST looked outside of Counter-Strike for the desk hosting duties.
As a result, BLAST brought in DOTA 2 host, NatTea, who will be sure to bring with her all that swagger and charm that Aussies are known for. She’ll also be conducting interviews throughout the event, making her the first port of call for all the important insights from the players.
Sharing her duties on the desk will be DarfMike, who will also be doubling up as the show host. Quick-witted and passionate about Counter-Strike, we’re thrilled to have him back for another BLAST event.
Rounding out the hosting will be our stage host, Iain Chambers. A familiar face for those who also enjoy Rainbow 6 or watched a lot of the Esports World Cup, he’ll be adding to the hype before each and every map.
Helping out with the analysis for our desk segments will be the quartet of Pimp, voo, Maui, and dupreeh.

What’s a Counter-Strike game without casting?
The first of two duos for the event is CS royalty, Anders and HenryG. Two of the most experienced casters in the business, they’ll be adding their iconic voices to all the biggest plays throughout the event.
They will, of course, be joined by Scrawny and launders, the smooth-talking Canadians who are synonymous with BLAST in Counter-Strike.
Hype, wit, insight, they’ve got it all.
