The Royal Arena beckons.
The time is nearly upon us for BLAST Premier Fall Finals, and we hope you'll join us both inside and outside the Arena from the 22nd of November as the best teams in the world descend on Copenhagen.
Today BLAST revealed the first matchups for the tournament.
We'll take a look at the spicy first matches. We've also found the calculator and figured out how teams can secure the last spot for BLAST World Finals through points on the BLAST Premier 2023 Leaderboard.
If you're up and watching at 10AM European time, you'll be rewarded with Thunderpick winners FaZe Clan against a new-look Ninjas in Pyjamas roster.
10.00: GROUP 1 | FAZE VS. NIP |
~13.00: GROUP 1 | CLOUD9 VS. NAVI |
~16.00: GROUP 2 | VITALITY VS. HEROIC |
~ 19.00: GROUP 2 | COMPLEXITY VS. ASTRALIS |
There is a 15-minute break between maps and matches in the group stage. The matches start when the previous is done (rolling start).
While FaZe have already qualified for the World Final in Abu Dhabi, NIP need to win the Fall Final to secure their berth at the event.
NAVI, without s1mple, look to take out their former players on Cloud9 at around 1 PM European time - as we're working on a rolling schedule. NAVI signed w0nderful to replace s1mple, while Cloud9 recently added Boombl4 to replace sh1ro in a more unconventional replacement.
It did add a third former NAVI player to their ranks, though.
Cloud9 need to place higher than Astralis, and hope NIP and Complexity don't win the event to secure their spot in Abu Dhabi.
cadiaN's return to Heroic, and the hero's welcome he'll receive in Copenhagen are up after that, starting at around 4 PM. They face Team Vitality, who've made changes themselves - adding mezii to replace the outgoing Magisk.
To end the day, at approximately 7 PM, is Complexity vs Astralis. The North Americans need to win Fall Finals to book a flight to Abu Dhabi, while Astralis just have to match Cloud9 and hope NIP or Complexity don't win.
The Danish crowd will be buzzing for that one.
10.00 | GROUP 1 LOSERS |
~13.00 | GROUP 1 WINNERS |
~16.00 | GROUP 2 LOSERS |
~19.00 | GROUP 2 WINNERS |
The timing will be similar, with a rolling schedule, on day two, with the group one losers' match preceding the winners' match, and then the same for the second group.
The first group consists of FaZe, NIP, Cloud9 and NAVI, while the second contains Vitality, Heroic, Complexity and Astralis.
The quarters start on Friday, and the semis on Saturday, beginning at 3:30 PM and the second starting at around 6:30 PM, but once more exists on a rolling schedule.
Sunday sees the crowd treated to a Showmatch at 3:30 PM - with details to follow, with the Grand Final starting at 5 PM.
We cannot wait for Wednesday, 22nd November, to arrive!
