NIP have finalised their roster rebuild with the signing of Spanish in-game leader alex from Movistar Riders.
The Spaniard joins the Swedish organisation after five years with Movistar Riders, where he first became an IGL following the departure of steel in 2021.
Although he will not be able to join NIP at the CS2 Asia Championships, his first LAN with his new team will be BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.
Perhaps an unexpected signing from NIP, it is one that fans should be very excited about.
Movistar Riders have enjoyed impressive results in the past couple of years including a semi-final finish at IEM Cologne 2022, an appearance at the PGL Stockholm Major, and playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 18 with an entirely different core to those previous events.
He also led the team to a record high fifth place in the HLTV rankings, as well as LAN event wins at ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 and ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023.
alex is the second change in recent times for NIP, who recently removed Swedish duo hampus and Brollan due to a "lack of leadership" and "role issues".
The other new player joining the team is es3tag, who returns to the starting lineup after ten months on the bench.
