Counter-Strike 2's most recent update might not look very big when you glance at the patch notes but it has come with one massive change.
There are a few little ones that will have also have big impacts, however, the change made to Dust2 will have huge game play ramifications for the map and especially on the CT side.
The big change is found towards the A site where players have now been given the opportunity to self-boost themselves on the boxes outside of CT spawn.
Previously, players would have had to boost on the box with multiple people from a similar position opposite in Elevator.
The ability to self-boost is a massive benefit for players on the CT side, both in terms of taking early fights across the A side of the map and when needing to defend the site from approaching Terrorists.
One big change for a certain group of players is that the champions' trophy for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 has now been added to the game.
NAVI star jL previously voiced his frustrations to us about not yet receiving his trophy, but he can now sleep happy knowing that his incredible achievement has been recognised in-game.
We couldn't be happier for you, mate.
The last big(ish) change is that London servers have been added to Valve matchmaking, which we're sure the UK scene will be absolutely thrilled about.
