In Monster Hunter Wilds, the weather plays a big role in how you hunt and gather resources. The game has a cycle of different weather stages, and each one brings its own challenges and opportunities.
This article will help you explain the weather system in Monster Hunter Wilds.
So, Fallow is basically the dry season. You can think of it as the time when everything is arid and not much is going on. You will notice that many areas are pretty barren during this time, so finding plants and creatures can be a lot harder.
If you’re trying to gather resources or hunt certain monsters, Fallow is the worst time for that. It’s especially annoying if you have a quest that asks you to capture specific targets, because they can be tough to find in these conditions.
Next up is Inclemency. This period is all about change and is connected to the Apex Monsters in the game. When the weather’s in this stage, it’s like the world is in a bit of turmoil as it moves from the dry, barren Fallow to the more abundant Plenty stage.
You’ll be more likely to run into the powerful Apex Monsters here, so it’s definitely a time to watch out for them.
Here’s how the weather works in different regions during Inclemency:
Now, Plenty is what you’re really hoping for. This is when the weather’s just right, with lots of plants and animals around. If you need materials or want to go after certain monsters, this is the weather you want.
Want to change the weather to suit your needs? You can do that, but it’s not free. Just head to your tent in the Pop-up Camp, go to the Grill Tab, and choose the Rest option.
From there, you can adjust the time of day and weather conditions. Just keep in mind that each change will cost you 300 Guild Points.
