The Kuku Cooler is a storage item in Crimson Desert that lets you hold more materials and crafted items. Early on, your inventory fills up fast, especially when you start exploring multiple regions and collecting resources.
This item helps manage that problem before you move to the Enhanced Kuku Cooler later in the game.

To get the Kuku Cooler, you need to progress the main story until you unlock crafting through workshops. From my experience, this happens naturally as you move through early quests, so focus on story missions first instead of wandering too much.
Once unlocked, you will be able to craft utility items like storage tools. The Kuku Cooler will show up in the crafting list after you reach the required progression point.
The base Kuku Cooler does not need rare late-game materials like the enhanced version, but you still have to gather a few specific resources from different regions. These are usually basic crafting materials you will already start collecting during exploration.
Keep picking up everything you see while traveling, especially wood, plant-based materials, and early mechanical drops. I made the mistake of ignoring some of these at first and had to backtrack later.
Most materials for the base version come from open world exploration. Focus on:
If you follow the story and clear areas along the way, you will naturally collect enough without needing dedicated farming.
Once you have the required materials, head to a workshop. I crafted mine at the first major workshop I unlocked through the story.
Open the crafting menu, select the Kuku Cooler, and confirm the materials. After crafting, it will be added to your usable items, and your storage capacity will increase.
