If you’re spending time with Crimson Desert, you’ll quickly notice that not all spears are easy to find. Some of the strongest ones are tucked away in specific areas or locked behind crafting and farming.

This is one of the most flexible spears I have used. It comes with five Abyss Gear slots, which makes a big difference if you like tweaking your build.
You can shape it around your playstyle instead of being stuck with fixed stats. The damage is solid, and it holds up well even after you progress further.
To get it, you’ll need to farm Bleed Bandits. I had better luck in Karin Quarry and Perwin Quarry since there are plenty of enemies there for repeated runs. Once you have it, you can refine it later at Turnali in Hernand.

This one stands out because of its unique effect. Every hit applies a stacking poison-like effect, which builds up to three charges. It’s useful when fighting tougher enemies since the damage keeps ticking even when you’re not attacking.
The downside is real, though. It has a durability limit, and once it’s gone, the spear is gone too. So I only used it in fights where I really needed the extra edge.
You’ll find it in the Well of Enlightenment in Forebearer’s Barrens. Look for a circular pool, then head to a small oven-like structure nearby. The spear is inside.

This is easily one of the most fun weapons to use. Every attack triggers an explosion, whether it’s a light hit or a heavy swing. It clears groups fast and feels strong in almost every situation.
It doesn’t have sockets, so you can’t add extra upgrades, but it makes up for that by being fully refinable to max level without losing power.
To craft it, you need to unlock the Sanctum of Exaltation in the north of Pailune. That gives you the blueprint. After that, gather Kuku Spear, Flame Spear, Small Battery, and Lubricant, then craft it at Grimnir’s Kuku shop in Hernand.

I found this spear really helpful early in the game. It hits for 27 damage, which is strong when you’re just starting out. It’s simple and reliable without needing upgrades.
That said, it doesn’t scale well later because you can’t upgrade it or attach Abyss Gear. So it’s more of a temporary weapon.
You can pick it up at Antumbra Ritual Grounds. Check the mountain peak just above the letter H on the Hernand map.
This one is technically a halberd, but it plays close enough to a spear that it fits the same style. It gives a 4 percent damage boost against different enemy types, which adds up over time.
I used this a lot in mid to late game because the bonus applies in most fights, not just specific ones.
To find it, go to Frostveiled Castle Ruins and clear out the bandits. Head down the staircase into the lower level, move through the hallway, and you’ll find it behind metal bars near an unlit lantern.
