When does Giant Snowball Evolution come out in Clash Royale?
If you're a Clash Royale player, you’re probably already looking forward to the new season dropping on the first week of December 2024, especially with the Giant Snowball Evolution making its debut.
Unlike the regular Giant Snowball, the evolved version traps enemies inside and rolls them away, regardless of their size. Here’s everything you need to know about when and how to get it.
Release date of the Giant Snowball Evolution in Clash Royale
The Giant Snowball Evolution will officially be released on December 2, 2024, once the new season is started in Clash Royale.
How to unlock the Evolved Giant Snowball in Clash Royale?
Normally, Clash Royale releases card evolutions just before the end of the season, which happens on the first Monday of the month. After that, you can unlock the evolution using Wild Shards. But once the new season kicks off, players who buy the Diamond Pass Royale will get six Giant Snowball shards to unlock the evolved version right away.
If you’re not buying the Diamond Pass, don’t worry. You can still collect Giant Snowball shards in other ways, like:
- Level Up chests
- Season Shop (coming in future seasons)
- Shop Offers (also in future seasons)
- Legendary Lucky Drops
How the evolved Giant Snowball works in Clash Royale
The Evolved Giant Snowball isn’t just a stronger version of the regular Giant Snowball, as when it lands, instead of just pushing enemies back, it traps them inside the snowball and rolls them four tiles away.
What makes this evolution unique is that it works on all troops, regardless of their size. That means it can push away even the biggest units like Golems, P.E.K.K.A., Lava Hounds, and more. The only troop that isn’t affected is the Protected Monk.
Also, Giant Snowball Evolution requires two cycles to activate, which means every third deployment is the evolved version of Giant Snowball.
