The Royal Chef is the newest Tower Troop coming to Clash Royale in the Q4 update, and it’s got some pretty unique abilities. Unlike most Tower Troops, which focus purely on damage, the Royal Chef’s main role is to level up your troops by throwing pancakes at them. Yeah, you read that right—pancakes.

Here’s how it works: The Royal Chef throws a pancake at your troop with the highest hitpoints, increasing their level by 1. This boosts their Damage and HP by 10%. So, for example, if you have a tanky troop like a Giant or P.E.K.K.A. with a lot of hitpoints, you can level them up to make them even stronger.

The Royal Chef isn’t without its drawbacks, though. His HP is a bit lower than other Tower Troops like Tower Princess (2703 compared to 3052), and his DPS is also slightly reduced due to a longer hit time (0.9 seconds). So, while he’s not great in a direct fight, he’s perfect for enhancing your troops from behind the scenes.

Another interesting feature is the cooking counter, which shows how long it will take before the next pancake is ready. The cooking speed depends on whether the Royal Chef is idle, attacking, or destroyed. If both chef towers are destroyed, cooking stops entirely, so keeping them intact is key.

Royal Chef also prioritizes troops with more HP and won’t level up troops with less than 20% HP. He can’t throw pancakes at the same troop twice in a row, so you'll have to spread the love to all your troops.

What is the release date of Royal Chef in Clash Royale?

The exact release date has not yet been revealed by the developers; however, it is said that it will release on the Season 66 update, which will happen in December 2024.
