Clash of Clans: Hero Hall, explained

With the Town Hall 17 update coming soon in Clash of Clans, there are some big changes, especially for players who already have Heroes. The Hero Hall won’t be something you have to build from the ground up, even if you’re just getting started with the update. Here’s what you need to know about how the Hero Hall will work when the new update lands.

What is the Hero Hall in Clash of Clans?

The Hero Hall is a new building in Clash of Clans that allows you to manage and upgrade your Heroes. It basically lets you upgrade your Heroes, change their skins, and even link to the Blacksmith and Pet House for equipment and pet assignments.

How will the Hero Hall work in Clash of Clans?

If you already have Heroes when Town Hall 17 drops, you won’t have to start building the Hero Hall from scratch. When you log into the game after the update, a tutorial will guide you through placing your Hero Hall.

The Barbarian King will express his displeasure with his current spot on the altar, and that’s when you’ll be prompted to place down your Hero Hall.

How does Hero Hall level work in Clash of Clans?

The level of the Hero Hall you get will be based on the Heroes you already have. It will automatically set the Hero Hall to the lowest level required to unlock and upgrade your Heroes to the levels they’re currently at.

For example, if your Archer Queen is level 55, your Hero Hall will be set to level 6 (since level 6 is the lowest level that supports a level 55 Archer Queen).

If you’re in the middle of upgrading a Hero when the update drops, the upgrade will finish immediately, and the new Hero level will be used to determine the Hero Hall level. So, if your Hero is being upgraded to a higher level, the Hero Hall will adjust accordingly.

What is the Minion Prince starting level?

The assigned Hero Hall level will also determine the starting level of the Minion Prince if you’re unlocking them. The Minion Prince will begin at the level cap of the previous Hero Hall level, or at level one if the Hero Hall you’re given is level three.

For example, if your Hero Hall is set to level 10, the Minion Prince will start at level 70 (which is the level cap of the previous Hero Hall, level 9).
