Brawl Stars has just released the new brawler "Kenji.” Admittedly, we're super hyped to try him.
Kenji is a legendary brawler who is known for his sizeable health and fast mobility. With such good traits, anyone will be tempted to use him in battles.
But like any brawler, he is also not perfect and needs enhancements like gears, gadgets, and star power for better effectiveness.
To help you with that, here is a comprehensive guide to the best build for Kenji in Brawl Stars.

We've listed Kenjis abilities here:
Kenji’s main attack is slashes from his sword. But there is a catch: he heals every time he inflicts damage on enemies, which gives more reason why everyone will use him in the current meta.
What’s even better is that he can steal health from an enemy after damagin them; however, he will heal only 35% of the health from the inflicted damage. It works even with a Heist Safe or any non-brawler stuff like Nita Bear.
There is also a twist in his attack, as he can alternate between dash and slash attacks. Usually, slashing deals more damage than dashing, and it also helps you heal more.
But overall, his damage output is average, so that’s where the best enhancements will help you.
Another notable feature is that his reload speed is very fast, so you can quickly alternate between dash and slash.
Kenji’s super attack is very strong as he throws a fish in the pointed direction and slashes the fish into two halves, and any target trapped that comes in the line of sight of the fish. What’s even better is that during the Super, he is immune to any damage from the enemies.
However, you have to master throwing the fish directly to the enemy to make it an effective attack. On a side note, the community already calls him Edgar 2.0.
Screenshot by BLASTAs mentioned before, Kenji only heals 35% of the damage inflicted, but with this Hosomaki Healing gadget, he will heal 75% of the damage dealt, which lasts only three seconds.
Screenshot by BLASTIf you went passive for five seconds and avoided any damage from enemies, Kenji will receive a damage reduction shield that will withhold 90% of the damage that he will receive.
Screenshot by BLASTAs mentioned before, Kenji has an average DPS, and to optimise it, you must use the Damage gear that deals 15% more damage to the enemies when Kenji’s health is at 50%.
This gear is great for keeping Kenji alive since the extra damage he deals translates to more healing, helping him stay in the fight longer.
The next gear that you should use is the Gadget Charge gear. It is obvious to equip, as with the kind of gadget he possesses, you might want to have it one more time during the battle.
