Brawl Stars: How to get Knight Amber skin for free

Supercell recently added a new event in Brawl Stars that lets players get the Knight Amber skin for free. This is a time-limited event, so if you want the skin without spending gems, now’s the right time to play.

The event is simple but has a few things to keep in mind. Here’s everything you need to know.

What is the Knight Amber skin challenge in Brawl Stars?

The Knight Amber skin is part of a special in-game event. Instead of buying it with gems, players can unlock it by completing a challenge.

The event is running until August 20, 2025. Once it's over, the only way to get the skin will be by purchasing it for 149 Gems from the shop.

How does the Knight Amber skin challenge work in Brawl Stars?

The challenge is made up of three stages. Each stage has a Trophy Thieves match on a different map. You need to win three matches in each stage, which makes a total of nine wins to complete the challenge and get the skin.

You start with 4 lives. Each time you lose, you lose a life. If you run out, you can buy up to 4 more lives for 9 Gems each. The goal is to finish the challenge with the fewest losses so you don’t have to spend any gems.

Besides the skin, you also get 9 Starr Drops; one for each win.

Each stage is played on a different map. Here’s what you should know for each one:

Stage 1: Thin Walls

This map is fast-paced and open. Use brawlers like Max for speed, Sandy or Juju for control, or Fang and Kaze if you like close-range fights.

Stage 2: Case of the Mondays

This one has tight corners and narrow paths. Brawlers like Stu and Griff work well here, along with Kenji, since they can move fast and cover space easily.

Stage 3: Million Dollars

This map has a tricky center area with water around it. Use brawlers like Juju, Angelo, R-T, Alli, Eve, or Shade. They can handle the water sections or control the center better than most.

What if you miss the Knight Amber skin challenge in Brawl Stars?

If you don’t complete the challenge by August 20, 2025, the skin will still be available in the Gem Shop. It’s listed as an Epic skin and costs 149 Gems.

So you won’t completely miss out, but getting it free now is obviously better if you can manage the challenge.
