PGL Wallachia Season 1, the first of a three-year Dota 2 tournament series, kicks off on May 10, 2024.
The sixteen-team tournament will run for over nine days in Bucharest, Romania. Participating teams will compete for their share of a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The group stage will run between May 10 to May 15, 2024, whereas the Playoffs will run between May 16 to May 19, 2024. Top eight teams will advance to the playoffs while the remaining eight teams will be eliminated after the conclusion of the group stage.

Five rounds of best-of-three (Bo3) will be played across five days in the PGL Wallachia Season 1. The first round on day one will feature multiple streams being played simultaneously, so you have got a “problem of plenty” to choose from.

Substitutions:
Tundra Esports and Blacklist International will miss out on attending PGL Wallachia Season 1 as they couldn’t procure visas on time despite multiple deadlines. Mouz and Azure Ray were announced as their respective replacements.
The perennial mercenary team, OG Esports, were originally invited to be one of the replacements but they declined to participate for different reasons.
