Parivision defeats Team Liquid to clinch their first trophy of the season and claim the ESL One Bangkok 2024 championship. With this win, Parivision walk away with $300,000 in prize pool and 5280 EPT points – a means to get an invite to the Riyadh Masters.

Parivision win ESL One Bangkok 2024

Parivision was dominant throughout the tournament. They clinched four clean victories in the group stage and drew one against BetBoom Team, thus directly advancing to the upper bracket of the playoffs. They defeated Avulus in the first round and the tournament favourites BetBoom Team in the second round of the playoffs upper bracket.

While not clinical, unlike the group stage, Parivision’s determination and grit enabled them to overcome obstacles, especially when their backs were against the wall. They would later face Team Liquid in the grand finals after the latter’s victory against the formidable BetBoom Team.

Team Liquid got the upper hand in the first game and took the lead with a cheeky draft. The reigning TI champions gave a masterclass to the Parivision lads with some beautiful gameplay and exemplary execution.

However, the loss only fueled Parivision’s fire within and forced them to think outside of the box. Recouping from their earlier loss, they turned the tables by outdrafting Team Liquid with a surprise Nyx Assassin pick and doubling down on their aggressive gameplay.

Team Liquid did not get a chance to bounce back and Parivision won the next three games to win ESL One Bangkok 2024.
