Teams for the inaugural season of Fissure Playground #1 have been locked in. A total of 16 teams, 11 invited and 5 qualified, will compete for a staggering prize pool of $1,000,000 to be held at the Sava Centar, Belgrade.
Here’s the complete list of Dota 2 teams competing at Fissure Playground #1:
West Europe and East Europe have the highest number of Dota 2 teams competing in the tournament. In contrast, China, SEA, and North America, including Amouranth’s newly sponsored NA team Wildcard, have two Dota 2 teams. Surprisingly, Heroic is the only Dota 2 team representing South America at the tournament.
Fissure Playground #1 begins on January 24, 2025, and concludes on February 02, 2025. More information regarding the tournament format, schedule and group stage hasn’t been revealed yet but stay tuned to BLAST to catch up on all the latest information.
