The DreamLeague Season 25 teams in Group Stage 2 are locked in. After the conclusion of Group Stage 1, eight out of sixteen teams advance to the tournament's second leg. Let’s look at how things unfolded, especially when Dota 2 Patch 7.38 dropped right in the middle of the tournament.
Here’s the list of teams advancing to Group Stage 2 of DreamLeague Season 25:
These eight Dota 2 teams advance to the tournament’s second leg after an intense group stage 1. Tundra Esports and Team Spirit topped their respective groups, putting up solid performances, without losing a single series. Both teams registered draws – Team Spirit drew against Team Liquid and Yakult Brothers while Tundra Esports drew against Shopify Rebellion.
Tundra’s recent form has been the talk of the town, especially after they have registered back-to-back tournament victories, and are looking poised to achieve a treble with a win in this tournament. Meanwhile, Team Spirit seems to be finally clicking with Yatoro and Collapse’s return.
To everyone’s surprise, Chimera Esports has delivered an impressive performance, considering their second-place ranking in the group stage. BetBoom Team, Team Falcons, and Parivision have also performed well in cementing their place in the next round.
On the other hand, Team Liquid narrowly avoided elimination. They faced Gaimin Gladiators and Yakult Brothers in a three-way tiebreaker to seal the final spot and advance to Group Stage 2 of DreamLeague Season 25.

These eight teams will compete in a single round-robin group stage in best-of-three matches. Only four teams will advance to the DreamLeague Season 25 Playoffs – the top two teams starting in the upper bracket while the 3rd-4th placed teams start in the lower bracket.
The remaining teams will be eliminated from the race. Teams will compete fiercely to advance in the tournament, as higher placement earns more EPT points, which are crucial for qualifying for the Riyadh Masters.
