Groups for the Road to The International 2024 (TI13) Group Stage have been announced along with the format. 16 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world have been divided into 4 groups as they fight for better seeding in the Main Event at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
Here are the groups for the Road to The International 2024 (TI13) Group Stage:
As you can see above, 16 teams have been equally divided into 4 groups. Each team will play three best-of-two’s (BO2) against their group opponents, and they’ll proceed to the next round (Seeding Decider) based on their group performance.
No team will be eliminated from the group stage.
The format for the group stage is: The 1st place in Group A will choose its opponent from the 3rd and 4th places in Group B, and vice versa. The same format also applies to Group C and Group D – and head into the seeding deciders.
All matches are going to be in the best-of-three (BO3) series. The winner advances to the upper bracket of the main event (playoffs) whilst the loser starts in the lower bracket.
