Dota 2: ESL One Bangkok 2024 announced with $1M Prize Pool

ESL One Bangkok 2024 has been announced with a staggering $1,000,000 prize pool. 12 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world will travel to Bangkok and battle it out for the grand prize.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 Details

ESL One Bangkok will be held between December 13th-15th, 2024 at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The top 12 ESL Pro Tour teams will compete for the grand prize of $1,000,000 and the valuable EPT points.

The winner walks away with the lion’s share of the prize money and the bragging rights to call themselves the champions.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 Format

Here is the format for ESL One Bangkok 2024:

• Group Stage:
  • Two round-robin groups featuring six teams each
  • All matches Bo2
  • 1st & 2nd place teams in each group advance to the playoffs upper bracket
  • 3rd & 4th place teams advance to the playoffs lower bracket
  • 5th & 6th place teams are eliminated
• Playoffs:
  • Eight team double-elimination bracket
  • Four teams start in the upper bracket and four teams start in the lower bracket
  • All matches are Bo3 except the grand final
  • Grand Final is Bo5

Prize Pool

The prize pool stands at $1,000,000. The distribution can be seen below:

• 1st: $300,000
• 2nd: $175,000
• 3rd: $120,000
• 4th: $85,000
• 5th: $57,500
• 6th: $57,500
• 7th: $47,500
• 8th: $47,500
• 9th: $30,000
• 10th: $30,000
• 11th: $25,000
• 12th: $25,000
