With The International 2024 (TI13) right around the corner, Valve has released the final gameplay update before the tournament. Patch 7.37c brings balance adjustments, item changes, and hero tweaks, especially the latest addition to the Dota 2 universe – Ringmaster.
Patch 7.37c Hero Updates
Here’s the list of major hero updates in patch 7.37c:
- Anti-Mage: Anti-Mage’s facet, Magebane’s Mirror, has received a buff. Reflected spell amplification on Counterspell and Counterspell Ally has been increased from 20% to 30%. Additionally, Blink cooldown has also been decreased.
- Bane: Nightmare cast range has been increased by 50 points across all levels.
- Death Prophet: Death Prophet’s facet, Mourning Ritual, has been slightly nerfed. Mourning Ritual’s damage delayed has been decreased by 5% across all levels.
- Doom: The buyback cost penalty on Doom’s facet, Devil’s Bargain, has been increased from 15% to 20%.
- Earthshaker: Earthshaker’s facet, Slugger, no longer requires Enchant Totem to be levelled to be active. It now scales with Echo Slam instead of Enchant Totem (values unchanged).
- Ember Spirit: Ember Spirit receives additional nerf. Sleight of Fist mana cost has been rescaled from 65 to 60/65/70/75 while Flameguard’s damage per second has been decreased.
- Enchantress: Enchant’s experience received on cast has been decreased from 50% to 35%.
- Hoodwink: Acorn’s shot slow duration has been decreased from 0.35s to 0.3s.
- Lich: Lich’s innate ability Death Charge’s mana restoration range has been increased from 1200 to 1500.
- Lina: Combustion damage threshold has been increased from 150 to 175. Light Strike Array stun duration has been slightly decreased.
- Magnus: Magnus receives a slight buff. Skewer’s damage has been slightly increased. Level 10 Talent Shockwave Slow duration has been increased from +0.5s to +0.75s.
- Naga Siren: Naga’s facet Deluge’s max movement speed has been increased from 225 to 240.
- Nature’s Prophet: NP’s facet Ironwood Treant receives a slight nerf. Treant’s base attack time during Nature’s Call has been increased from 1.4s to 1.6s
- Ogre Magi: Bloodlust’s bonus attack speed has been increased. Fire Shield: Multicasts now prioritize Ogre Magi himself, followed by heroes, then buildings, then creeps, skipping units that already have the buff.
- Omniknight: Omniknight’s secondary Purification (aghamin’s shard upgrade), Repel and Hammer of Purity has been nerfed.
- Pangolier: Pango’s Shield Crash on Double Jump facet has been nerfed. Max damage and max barrier increase has been decreased from 50% to 40%.
- Phantom Lancer: Cancer Lancer is back? Phantom Lancer’s facets Convergence and Divergence receives a buff with Juxtapose’s Illusion Damage being increased. Additionally, Spirit Lance’s illusion duration has been increased and Bonus Agility on Phantom Rush is now applied for additional 1.5s after it ends.
- Ringmaster: Ringmaster’s base movement speed in 7.37c has been reduced from 315 to 310. His ability Strongman Tonic’s bonus strength per level is slightly decreased. Wheel of Wonder’s time duration and automatic explosion time has been decreased. Spotlight’s linger duration has been increased.

- Gleipnir:
- Health bonus decreased from 350 to 300
- Eternal Chains damage decreased from 180 to 165
- Guardian Greaves:
- Mend health restored decreased from 350 to 325
- Holy Locket:
- Holy Blessing heal amplification decreased from 30% to 25%
- Mekansm:
- Restore health restored decreased from 275 to 250
- Pipe of Insight:
- Barrier absorbed damage decreased from 450 to 425
- Rod of Atos:
- Health bonus decreased from 300 to 275
- Solar Crest:
- Shine bonus armor decreased from 7 to 5
Other changes
Neutral Creep Harpy Stormcrafter’s Chain Lightning mana cost has been increased from 50 to 60.
