Playoffs brackets is set for Elite League Season 2

The group stage of the Elite League Season 2 has concluded with OG, Team Liquid, 1win and nouns securing their spots in the upper bracket of the playoffs. Meanwhile, the remaining teams start in the lower bracket.

Let’s dig in on the group stage results and the playoffs brackets:

The top 4

OG secures the first spot in the Elite League Season 2 Round Robin stage with an impressive 6:1 record. Their only loss came against nouns. Similar to OG, even 1win recorded an impressive 6:1 score but had to settle in second place after their only loss against OG, the table toppers.

Both Nouns and Team Liquid registered a 4:3 score and came in third and fourth position, respectively. They also start in the upper bracket of the playoffs.

OG faces Team Liquid whereas 1win faces nouns in the upper bracket of the Elite League Season 2 Playoffs. The winner advances to the upper bracket final while the loser drops down to the lower bracket and gets a chance at redemption.

The bottom 4

Boom Esports, Shopify Rebellion, Execration and beastcoast start in the lower bracket of the Elite League Season 2 playoffs.

Boom faces beascoast whereas Shopify faces Execration in their respective opening series. There’s no second chance as the loser gets eliminated from the tournament whilst the winner advances to the next round but is always at the risk of getting eliminated until it reaches the grand finals.

The playoffs are scheduled to begin on August 2 and will run through August 4, 2024. Which team are you rooting for?
