Enroute to Chengdu: Six teams locked in for BLAST SLAM V Playoffs

The first phase of the BLAST SLAM V: Chengdu is over, and the final six teams heading to the Playoffs have been determined.

The Playoffs will begin on December 5, 2025, and will be held at the Wuliangye Culture & Sports Center in China.

BLAST SLAM V: Chengdu Pl,ayoffs Teams

• Tundra Esports
• OG
• Team Yandex
• Natus Vincere
• MOUZ

Team Falcons and Tundra Esports secured the top two spots in the group stageand punched their tickets directly to the semi-finals.

In the previous season as well, both teams secured top spots and qualified for the semi-finals.

The remaining four teams had to go through the Last Chance Playoffs and the Play-In stage to fight for their spots. OG and Natus Vincere defeated HEROIC and Team Tidebound in straight games to qualify for the BLAST Slam V: Chengdu playoffs.

On the other hand, MOUZ and Team Yandex faced stiff competition and had to duel it out against Yakult Brothers and Xtreme Gaming in a full-blown best-of-three series to seal the remaining two spots.

Unfortunately, there won’t be any Chinese teams participating in front of their home crowd in China.

Playoffs Bracket

The Playoffs bracket is set, and the competition will begin with the quarter finals:

• OG vs Team Yandex: OG faces Team Yandex in the first quarterfinal of the BLAST Slam V: Chengdu Playoffs. Both teams have performed surprisingly well in the tournament and might as well be one of the dark horses.
• Natus Vincere vs MOUZ: Natus Vincere will go up against the formidable and in-form MOUZ in the second quarter final. MOUZ are currently in good form, especially after winning PGL Wallachia Season 6, so NAVI have their work cut out for themselves.
