The post-TI 2024 roster shuffle has seen a wave of changes across the Dota 2 professional scene as teams rebuild their rosters for the upcoming season. Aurora is no exception as it announces its new Dota 2 roster – an exciting blend of SEA and EEU talent.
Here is Aurora’s new Dota 2 roster:
A few days ago, Aurora parted ways with three of its players, namely, 23, Oli and Lorenof as it looked to rebuild its roster for the upcoming season. It also meant the end of 23 and Jabz’s two-year association of playing together.
The Serbian-based esports organisation, currently having its Dota 2 base in Malaysia, decided to rebuild its team around Jabz and Q. They have enlisted the services of the prolific mid-laner Abed, formerly of EG and Blacklist International, and TA2000 and Kaori, formerly of PSG Quest.
The new roster indicates Aurora’s willingness to continue with its hybrid model of combining SEA and EEU players once again, an experiment which has yielded decent results for the organisation in the previous events, including The International 2024.
As Aurora prepares to debut its new Dota 2 roster at the DreamLeague Season 2024 qualifiers, PSG Quest faces adjusting to these significant changes. The saying 'one person's loss is another's gain' seems particularly relevant in this situation.
PSG Quest stares down an empty barrel with three players leaving to join other teams and only two remaining behind. While TA2000 has joined Aurora, No!ob and OmaR have joined Nigma Galaxy in the post-TI 2024 roster shuffle.
PSG Quest faces the difficult task of rebuilding its Dota 2 roster amidst the current roster shuffle. With only Malik and Dukalis remaining, it will be intriguing to see how the MENA-based organisation navigates this turbulent period.
