Vitality smash Virtus.pro to advance to playoffs

They may have gone 0-1 down to start the Major, but Vitality have made it to the playoffs at the first time of asking thanks to a dominant showing against Virtus.pro.

Dominant CT side sees Vitality take Train

Train was a relatively even affair in the first half, VP managed to pull it back to just a two round deficit after initially starting the map 5-0 down.

However, Vitality were just too strong when they moved onto their CT side, a solid team performance saw them lose just one round in the second half as they secured the first map with a 13-6 scoreline.

A strong series opener for both ropz and flameZ, they combined for 36 kills to give their team the advantage in the series.

Vitality win seven straight T side rounds to close out the series

Dust2 was incredibly similar, it began with another five round winning streak for Vitality.

This time on their CT side, ZywOo was impressive as he picked up 16 CT side kills, but that wasn't enough to prevent VP from fighting back to keep the scores level at 6-6.

Despite that close score, the second half continued to be a mirror image of the first map, Vitality dominated in the second half to secure the map 13-6.

ZywOo continued his strong performance into the second half, he ended the map on 22 kills to see his team into the playoffs.
