Vitality qualify for semi-finals after moving past Liquid

Day two of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 began with a banger series between FaZe and Falcons, and the final series of the day didn't disappoint as Vitality took on a Liquid team that managed to take down Spirit on day one.

With both teams clearly in form, it was always going to be a great game, and it took everything Vitality had to overcome Liquid and book their place in the semi-finals.

Vitality close out in Overtime on Anubis

Vitality started strongest on Anubis as they built up a 4-2 lead, but NAF carried on his fine form from the Spirit game to make it 4-3.

7-5 in favour of Liquid at the half, mithR was clearly happy with his team's performance in the first half.

Vitality managed to get themselves back in front, but apEX still wasn't happy as ultimate AWPed him outside B.

With the game tied 11-11, ultimate shone again as he caught out ZywOo in the Canal.

But ZywOo got his own back just a few rounds later as the game went to overtime.

Despite the closeness of regulation, overtime was completely one-sided and Vitality managed to close out the game 16-12 thanks to 75 kills combined from Spinx, flameZ, and ZywOo.

Vitality secure semi-finals on Nuke

Down but not out, Liquid quickly managed to secure a 9-3 CT half on Nuke.

Liquid then managed to win pistol in the second half, but Vitality battled back thanks to plays like this from flameZ.

The BLAST.tv Paris Major winners managed an incredible 10 rounds on their CT side, limiting Liquid to just two T side rounds as they closed out Nuke 13-11.
