Counter-Strike fans, it is now your time to rejoice. Vertigo has finally been removed from the map pool.
That's right, in one very simple tweet, Valve have made an absolutely huge change to the game as Train has now been added to the Active Duty map pool in place of everyone's least favourite map.
It's been a long time coming.
Many fans will be happy with the return of Train, it's one of the most iconic maps in Counter-Strike history.
However, not everyone will be happy with the change. Although Chr1zN previously told us that OG have been practicing it over Winter, Eternal Fire captain MAJ3R recently tweeted his displeasure at the current state of the map.
Unfortunately, MAJ3R will have to get used to it, because Train will be in the map pool for the next Counter-Strike Major, the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
Set to be a massive event, it's the first Major to take place in North America since the ELEAGUE Boston Major back in 2018.
Train hasn't been in the map pool for a few years now, it was replaced by Ancient during the online era. A welcome change to what many people considered to be the weakest map pool in CS history, we're looking forward to see what teams can come up with on the new version of the map.
