Spirit are the new Major champions.
After a thrilling final map of their grand final against FaZe, the Dragons, managed to hold their composure and avoid FaZe forcing overtime as they won in the final round of overtime.
An incredible run, it sees donk crowned as the youngest Major winner and Major MVP.
The win in Shanghai sees Spirit end their year as it began, lifting one of the biggest trophies in the game.
Starting out at IEM Katowice, they made waves as they blitzed the competition, annihilating FaZe 3-0 in the final.
As the year came to an end, they would be matched against FaZe again in an even bigger game, the Major final.
A far closer game, both teams enjoyed comfortable map wins and Spirit looked close to getting another but FaZe almost managed to mount a phenomenal comeback on map three.
However, Spirit eventually got the win, closing out Dust2 13-11 to cap off an incredible rookie year for donk and zont1x.
Of course, donk starred in the final. The young gun went 69-44 to top the scoreboard with a 1.67 rating, although magixx also picked up 69 kills and recorded a 1.58 rating of his own.
A terrifying prospect for teams heading into 2025, Spirit now look to be more frightening than ever ahead of a jam-packed Counter-Strike season.
