Spirit take down vitality in two

In the final game of day one of BLAST Premier World Final 2024, we saw Vitality begin their campaign to retain their World Final crown.

It's a feat that's never been done before, and Vitality will now have to do it the hard way as Spirit managed to take them down with a decisive 2-0

Let's take a look at the action.

Spirit secure Anubis

Anubis began with a close first half, but it was stand-in JACKZ who gave Vitality the advantage at the half as he beat sh1ro in a 1v1.

However, Vitality were no match for Spirit's T side, Spirit ended the series after picking up eight rounds to Vitality's two.

sh1ro was the difference maker on the map, his 21 kills were key to Spirit taking their lead in the series.

Spirit close out the series on Mirage

Mirage started off with a bang, ZywOo pulled off a 1v4 to give Vitality an early advantage on the map.

That advantage didn't last long though, and it's no surprise when Vitality were doing things like this.

Not that it was all bad, apEX was hitting shots like this.

But, that wasn't enough for Vitality to win the map and although they pushed us to all 24 rounds, it was Spirit who closed it out 13-11.
