Spirit comfortable against Wildcard to book semi-final clash with Vitality

After a banger of a game between FaZe and MOUZ we were treated to another as Spirit took on Wilcard.

A game with a massive favourite, that favourite didn't disappoint, Spirit won the series with a comfortable 2-0 scoreline after a dominant map two.

Let's go over the action.

Spirit comfortable on Anubis

Anubis was close in it's opening few rounds, but largely due to phzy picking up a 4k on pistol.

Spirit were rampant as soon as the guns came out, going on a eight-round winning streak that included these crisp shots from sh1ro.

8-4 at the half, Spirit kept pushing to extend their lead to 10-4, but an ace from Sonic kept Wildcard in the map.

susp and JBa also had their moments, not content with letting Wildcard fall so easily.

However, they just couldn't pull off the comeback, and Spirit took the map with a 13-7 scoreline thanks to 20 kills from sh1ro.

Spirit dominate Dust2

Spirit took their momentum into Dust2 and went into the map with a point to prove. They quickly raced to a 3-0 lead, which was extended to 4-0 as zont1x cut down Wildcard's defence from Mid.

11-1 at the half, Wildcard just didn't stand a chance on map two. Spirit's T side was oppressive, and a combined 35 kills from donk and sh1ro put the reigning Major champions firmly in the lead.

Too big of a gap to close, Spirit closed out the series with ease in the second half, securing the map with a 13-2 scoreline. donk topped the scoreboard, he ended the map 23-8.
