And here we were thinking that the rostermania was over.
In a shock move following their early elimination from BLAST Bounty, MOUZ have benched their IGL, siuhy.
The Polish captain had helped MOUZ to the top of the Counter-Strike scene since joining in 2023, but will now find himself out of active duty after just one game in 2025.
siuhy rose to fame as part of MOUZ NXT, dominating the WePlay Academy League by winning all four of the first four seasons alongside his now former MOUZ teammates.
After playing with the NXT roster he moved to GamerLegion where again he made waves, first by qualifying to the IEM Rio Major 2022 and knocking G2 out in the RMR, then by making it to the grand final of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
Following that underdog run, siuhy returned to MOUZ, winning ESL Pro League Season 18 just a few months later after a 3-0 victory over NAVI in the final.
MOUZ continued to be successful under siuhy's leadership in 2024, winning another season of ESL Pro League as well as BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. They also finished second at IEM Rio.
However, despite this success, just a single 2-1 defeat at the hands of a new BetBoom and a differing of vision has seen the Polish IGL benched in the first month of 2025.
It is unclear what will be next for siuhy, but MOUZ have announced that Brollan will be taking over IGL duties, while current MOUZ NXT player xelex will stand-in for the team during IEM Katowice.
