GamerLegion, paiN, and FURIA advance: Shanghai Opening Stage round four recap
We're already three days down at the Perfect World Shanghai Major and we now know three of the teams that will be joining the big boys in the Elimination Stage.
Europe got it's first representatives in GamerLegion, while South America also stamped it's mark as two teams from Brazil also advanced.
Of course, we also bid farewell to a few teams, so let's go back over the days action.
FURIA book Elimination Stage place with win over BIG
The day opened with a 2-1 game, fought between FURIA and BIG.
The big narrative heading into the match was that FalleN was without a win against tabseN in seven years, but that came to an end as FURIA closed out the game with a dominant map win on Dust2.
2-1 when it was all said and done thanks to wins on Mirage and Dust2, FalleN put his tabseN woes behind him as he topped the scoreboard alongside skullz with 46 kills apiece.

Rare Atom gave the home crowd something to cheer about yesterday when they eliminated fnatic, but that's all come crashing down today as they've bowed out of the Major thanks to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of MIBR.
The Brazilians kicked off the series with a 13-9 on Inferno before being pushed back as Rare Atom responded with a 13-11 win on Anubis.
However, he third and final map was nowhere near as close as the first two, Rare Atom crashed out thanks to a 13-4 defeat on Ancient.
Complexity bring themselves 2-2 with comeback win versus Cloud9
Complexity began the Major in terrible form and that form looked to have reappeared in map one versus Cloud9.
10-2 down at the half on Vertigo, the American squad managed to claw their way back, eventually forcing overtime and winning the game 16-13 thanks to their deadly trio of Grim, hallzerk, and EliGE.
They then put the game to bed in the second map, winning 13-8 on Ancient and sending Cloud9 home early.

On the flipside, FlyQuest began their Major in stellar form and soon found themselves in the 2-0 bracket, but just two days later, it'll be do or die for them in the 2-2 bracket after losing to paiN.
A solid team performance from the Brazilian side, they took the Aussies down in two, winning Vertigo in overtime and Inferno 13-6.
nqz and kauez starred, they combined for 83 kills across the two maps to put FlyQuest within one loss of losing their spot in the Major.
GamerLegion advance after taking down Passion UA
GamerLegion are on a roll. After being on the brink of an embarrassing RMR exit, the young squad now find themselves in the Elimination Stage after taking down Passion UA 2-1.
FL4MUS starred once again, he picked up 46 kills across the BO3 including 20 on the final map to send them through.
Oh, and he had one of the moments of the Major on Inferno.
Wildcard dump Virtus.pro out of the Major
It's crazy to think that just a few Majors ago the core of this Virtus.pro team was lifting the trophy.
In another disappointing result for them, they crashed out of the Major with a 1-3 record, falling to NA underdogs Wildcard in a 2-1 defeat.
VP even opened the series with a 13-10 win on Ancient, but they crumbled on Inferno and Anubis and failed to record double digit rounds on either map.
