ropz released by FaZe ahead of big move
We're edging closer to one of the biggest moves of rostermania as ropz has been released by FaZe.
ropz, who has been the big star on FaZe since he arrived in 2022, won seven tournaments during his three-year stay with the American organisation.
He is now expected to join Vitality, as reported by HLTV and neL.

ropz joined FaZe in 2022, after a successful five years with MOUZ.
HAving already established himself as one of the best players in the world, ropz saw himself reach new heights with FaZe, winning both IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne as well as the PGL Major Antwerp within his first six months with the team.
Almost a year later, ropz would also become a winner of the Intel Grand Slam, as FaZe wrapped up season four with a win at ESL Pro League Season 17.
After a strong start to CS2, 2024 was more difficult for ropz and FaZe. They reached eight finals in a row, but won just half of them as they went on a barren spell from November 2023 to April 2024.
The remainder of the year saw FaZe struggle, however, they remained a contender at the top of the rankings.
In his final event with FaZe, ropz shone at the Perfect World Shanghai Major but ultimately fell to the might of donk and Team Spirit in the final, their second Major final defeat in 2024.
Despite a tough year, ropz was awarded as the 18th best player of the year by HLTV and there is now anticipation that he will climb back up the rankings on his new team.
