paiN win in two to eliminate 3DMAX

The heartbreak continues at the BLAST.tv Austin Major - 3DMAX have now been eliminated from the event by paiN.

The second win for a Brazilian team in today's 1-2 games, paiN will now be in tomorrow's 2-2 games after initially finding themselves in a 0-2 position.

Let's take a look at the action.

3DMAX feel the paiN on Inferno

With both teams playing for their lives in Texas, 3DMAX got off to the strongest start on Inferno as they took a 7-5 lead into their CT side.

paiN soon put their foot on the gas, though, tying the score quickly at 8-8 thanks to a 1v2 clutch from snow.

paiN would theng o on to close out the map 13-9, dgt topfragged the server with 19 kills to give his new unit the advantage within the series.

paiN seal the series after Nuke OT

paiN got off to a strong start on Nuke, but it was slightly down to 3DMAX forgetting some of their fundamentals.

3DMAX did get themselves back in front, though, and a huge clutch from Ex3rcice put them 9-5 ahead.

They were the first to map point, too, but that wasn't without losing six rounds in a row to let paiN back into the game.

From 11-4 down, paiN eventually secured the map 16-12, with every member of the team going positive in the process.
