OG were one of the favourites to advance from Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major and they've done it at the first time of asking with a win against NRG.
A confident 2-0 victory, let's take a look at how OG got their win.
OG started the series strong, they picked up nine rounds on the CT side. Their opponents map pick, the Europeans couldn't ask for a better start to the game, and it was their captain Chr1zN who led the defence with 12 kills.
NRG attempted to fight back in the second half, and they got off to a good start by winning the opening two rounds.
HexT was leading the way with 10 kills in the eight second half rounds played, but the deficit was too big and NRG fell to a 13-7 scoreline.

OG soon wrestled control of the map, and very little was going right for NRG as oSee was caught throwing one of the most NA nades we've ever seen.
NRG picked up just one more round for the remainder of the game, OG ran away with it to take the map 13-3. Chr1zN carried his strong map one showing into map two, he topped the scoreboard with 21 kills as he carried his team to Stage 2.
