It's do or die time for the Stage 2 teams over here at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
2-2 day, our day of intense CS action kicked off with HEROIC vs Nemiga, two Stage 1 teams who have impressed thus far in Texas.
Let's take a look at the action.
HEROIC may have lost the opening pistol round, but they looked good for picking Nuke as their force-buy soon kicked off a six round run that would see them take an early 6-1 lead on their T side.
However, it's hard to keep Nemiga down. Sometimes their firepower is just too hot to handle, and that's especially true when it's zweih doing the cooking.
Down 8-4 at the half, Nemiga pushed hard to tie the game up, khaN finally leveled the score at 9-9 with a sweet spray transfer in the 1v2.
And he wasn't the only member of his team clutching, riskyb0b pulled off another 1v2 to tie the game once more at 10-10.
The big plays didn't stop happening there, either. khaN picked up another highlight to secure map point for this team.
13-11 when it was all said and done, xfl0ud topped the server with 23 kills, but the 22 out of khaN was enough to secure Nemiga the advantage in the series.
Nemiga got off to a flying start on Dust2, they had an 8-0 lead on their T side faster than you can say "Rush B."
HEROIC refused to go out quietly, though, tN1R pulled off a huge 1v3 to stop the half from becoming embarrassing.
A fight back ensued as Nemiga struggled for CT rounds despite winning pistol. However, as HEROIC got closer to tying the scores at 11-9, Nemiga turned up the gas once more, winning the next two rounds to take the series with a 13-9 scoreline after 23 kills from their star boy, zweih.
