The hopes for the NA fans are now looking very slim at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, Liquid have been dumped out of the competition with a 0-3 record after a thrilling game against MOUZ.
After the loss, we caught up with NAF to discuss what went wrong for Liquid in Austin.
Unfortunately, you're now out of the Major, how are you feeling?
Honestly, it sucks. I think the first two games we played were not what we wanted to show, and then we started to perform better against MOUZ, and we almost had it, but it just slipped away.
You haven't had much time with siuhy since bringing him in, do you think one of the problems might be that?
I don't know. Of course, when you bring in an IGL it takes more time to change things than just swapping out a regular player, so it will take time, but the expectations were higher at this event.
He's joined permanently now, does that give optimism for the future when you can work on it more?
Honestly, I'm not sure, because I honestly don't know if I'll be on the team after this event. To me, it doesn't really matter right now. We'll just have to wait and see.
Twistzz said in an interview that the team was feeling a little exhausted after the bootcamp, can you elaborate on what it was that was so intense about it?
Just long hours, playing, travelling, we were trying to cover as much as we can in the time we had and do a bunch of things as much as possible. Maybe it was a little too much, but at the end of the day we tried our best and it's all just about how we performed at the event and how we feel here, unfortunately, it just wasn't our time here.
