MOUZ win in OT to knock out Liquid 0-3
No one coming into Stage 3 would have expected MOUZ vs Liquid to be a 0-2 game, but that was exactly what we were treated to, and what a game it was.
Let's take a look at the action.
MOUZ pick up the win on Dust2
The series started off with a bang, MOUZ picked up a 9-3 half after a strong Dust2 CT side.
Spinx and Jimpphat starred in that time, they combined for 26 kills to instantly place Liquid with their backs against the wall.
MOUZ extended their lead with a pistol round win, but Liquid did try to come back into the game with a some strong CT rounds of their own.
Unfortunately for them, though, it wasn't enough, and MOUZ took the map 13-8 with Spinx topping the server on 21 kills.
Liquid upset MOUZ on Nuke
Liquid came into Nuke with a 0% win rate but that very quickly changed as they blitzed MOUZ 13-4.
8-4 up at the half, Liquid picked up five straight T side rounds to win the second half, but that doesn't mean the half began in a good way for siuhy.
The map came to an end at 13-5, NertZ topped the scoreboard with a 19-10 statline.
MOUZ stay alive after crazy OT game
Mirage was crazy from map one, torzsi somehow managed to stay alive as he picked up the smoke defuse.
8-4 down at the half, Liquid fought back hard in the second half, they finally took the lead at 10-9.
They were even first to map point, and could've eliminated MOUZ as they took a 12-10 lead.
They also found themselves with map and series point in OT, but torzsi was on hand to keep MOUZ in it.
Eventually coming to an end at 22-19, ultimate did all that he could in the final map with a dominant 45-25 statline but it just wasn't enough as Spinx's 39 kills kept MOUZ in the competition.
